All students, regardless of skill level (novice to experienced) are welcome to participate. Students learn the basics of chess play and then progress to strategic thinking and creative play. Typically, a class will have a half hour of instruction and then a half hour of play. Additionally, there will be class tournaments with prizes for all participants.
Partial scholarships based on financial need are available upon approval of the instructor.
No classes on January 21st, February 18th, or March 18th.
